CF40 Roundtable

Moderated by CF40 secretary-general Wang Haiming, the CF40 Roundtable is usually hosted on a biweekly basis, focusing on China’s most prominent macroeconomic and financial topics. Discussions and debates at the seminar are compiled and published on CF40’s various platforms, including its official website, WeChat account, weekly and monthly research reports, as well as policy briefs that are submitted to policymaking departments and financial executives on a regular basis.

CF40 Annual Conference

The annual conference is a major event of CF40 and features wide participation by China's policymakers and leading economists. In addition to CF40 members, attendees also include senior officials from financial regulators including the People's Bank of China, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, and China Securities Regulatory Commission, as well as representatives of large financial institutions from home and abroad. Discussions focus on the latest economic development and China's future reform policies, with the agenda set by CF40 Academic Committee. At the conference, authoritative figures from respective fields deliver keynote speeches on the thematic topics and carry out in-depth exchanges with participants.

Quarterly Seminar on Macroeconomic Policy Report

The CF40 seminar on macroeconomic policy report is held on a quarterly basis after the release of China's seasonal economic data. It revolves around CF40 Quarterly Macroeconomic Policy Report and features economists and financial practitioners making keynote speeches and having discussion over the latest economic trend and implications of China's macroeconomive policies.

Youth Forum

The CF40 Youth Forum is an academic platform for young economists launched by CF40 on September 18, 2010. On October 16, 2012, it was further upgraded to include the CF40 Financial Street Forum which was launched in June that year. The Youth Forum aims to provide a platform for outstanding young scholars to conduct exchange on academic and policy research, support them in theoretical and policy research on macroeconomics and finance, enhance the academic foundation and provide reference for policymaking departments. The Forum is run on a membership basis and held in various forms including biweekly closed-door seminars, research projects and working paper series.
