The China Finance 40 (CF40) and the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) released the 2018 CF40-PIIE Joint Report on June 11, 2018 in Washington D.C. A Chinese version of the report was launched earlier in Beijing at the Seventh CF40-PIIE Economists' Symposium in May.
The report is themed "US-China Economic Relations: From Conflict to Solutions", and was penned by policymakers and leading economists from the two countries. Participants at the conference discussed bilateral economic relations amid a time of escalating tensions, and opportunities and challenges facing China's financial opening.
